Veterans hold a sacred place in my heart. My father served in WWII and Korea, his courage stitched into the quiet strength I carry.

I urge anyone who is able to do whatever you can to help others. Doesn't need to be financial, though that can certainly help. Donate your time. Stock shelves at a food pantry. Read to a senior citizen. Mow a lawn for free.

Mamdani’s win is a relief, a flicker of justice in a larger, messy world. And yet, over 40% of voters still chose Cuomo. Sexual assault should not be a footnote, should not be weighed like policy or personality—it should end a candidacy before it begins. That it doesn’t haunts me.
