If Batherson were to go anywhere it certainly wouldn't be west. His Magnetic Alignment precludes him from scoring goals west of his birth place; in his career he's only ever scored 2 goals per season on road trips west except for last year where he scored in 5 different cities. #sens

"2 goals on 2 shots" -- Greener would have wound up and coldcocked Matinpalo before pulling Ullmark. And Kola doesn't even play the PK. The Dallas Stars need a coach, not a middle school Vice Principal.

Maybe because I love my team, but I think it's pretty reasonable that if you throw your jersey or let another fan throw their jersey, onto the ice during a playoff game -- instead of cheering your team on -- you don't get to watch them win a cup. Maybe ever.

Nights like tonight I try to remember that for a long, long time, I was begging to watch meaningful games in March. While the W woulda made the evening even better, we got plenty of storybook moments and the matchup was fun to watch.

All 3 members of L4 were on ice for the optional skate today after getting scored on in the Toronto game. As an almost permanent member of L4, Gaudette has only been scored on 5 times since Jan 1st with 2 of those goals since Zetterlund was added. #sens

Upsetting to me is that Norris found a B game this season. He filled out the second side of his $8M contract with physicality but his goal scoring changed the dynamic of PK2. There are other players with less range to their game on this team. Extremely sad to see him go, despite his injury issues

#sens One of the meaningless stats I like to track is Batherson's Magnetic Alignment; he doesn't score goals west of Fort Wayne, IN. Since signing his current contract DB has scored 2 goals per season on roadies west of FW (including this season) except for last year where he scored 6.

#sens culture is that there is only five players on their team; PP1 negates their adv by playing the entire two minutes with no players stepping off for a change during the extended pressure. At least Tim took a shot this time.
