Congratulations to Omar Yaghi, Susumu Kitagawa, and Richard Robson on receiving the 2025 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for their pioneering work on metal–organic frameworks (MOFs). Their discoveries continue to inspire scientists worldwide. I’m grateful to contribute to this fascinating area of research.

In an open letter of support to the President of @harvard.edu, Max Planck President Patrick Cramer @patrick-cramer.maxplanck.de has expressed his full support of the University in its stance against demands by the Trump administration to change its policies in order to retain federal funding.

We recently attended the Rietveld and Pair Distribution Function (PDF) Analysis Workshop in Stuttgart. This one week school gathered PhD students and postdocs from around the world for both theoretical lectures and hands-on sessions in crystal structure analysis, with a focus on TOPAS software.

I would like to thank the Royal Society of Chemistry Switzerland for the kind invitation. It was a pleasure to meet researchers and professionals doing great work in their fields.
