If you worked for 18F and got fired, Group together to start a consulting company.

It’s just a matter of time before DOGE needs you to fix the mess they inevitably create.

They will have to hire your company as a contractor to fix it. But on your terms.

I’m happy to invest and/or help

"In most cities, ~ 80% of the crashes occur on 15-20% of roadways. We can make changes to that number. We don’t have to change 100% of our roadways, but we can be strategic & target these places and immediately see benefits in no longer killing our neighbours." -Kelcie Ralph

Rep. Elison says there's been lots of bills, but nothing's really changed on a federal level. So he's proposing to deal with what he can control: Utah joins Hawaii and Arizona on standard time.

If the nation moves onto Daylight Saving Time? Utah would join. But that's on Congress, not Utah.

A new OECD report confirms that US road safety is an abject failure.

Americans are far more likely to die in a crash than those living in other rich countries. US per capita crash death rates are at least 3x higher than Ireland, Norway, UK, Germany, or Japan.

Air pollution has dropped significantly in #Paris in the last 15 years. Mayor @annehidalgo.bsky.social’s leadership has traded car space for green space, safe bike space, kid space.. and traded pollution for people.

Good trade.

I find zero value in celebrity culture until we get to Keri Russell, who doesn't hop on a bike for the "look at me" photo shoot, but rather lives the bikes-for-transportation lifestyle in Brooklyn NY.

99% of all residential parcels in the City of Boston do not conform with modern zoning.

“Without case-by-case zoning relief, the current zoning code effectively declares that nothing should be built in Boston that looks like what is currently in Boston.”

In Swampscott the minimum lot sizes for single family ONLY zones (some 80% of residential land) are as follows:
A1: 30,000
A2: 20,000
A3/4: 10,000

We are 13 miles from downtown Boston.
Earlier this year Austin, Texas decreased the minimum lot size needed to build a home from 5,750sf to 1,800sf.

Over half of the communities in Greater Boston require 43,560sf+ minimum lot sizes on more than 50% of their total land area.
