Unless it's your personality, I think anger still has a place if something you're reviewing genuinely tilts you and you need to express yourself properly; it's very human.
The trick is balance. Knowing when to reel it back to get your point across without coming off like an entitled shithead.

One of my favorite YT'ers is @somecallmejohnny.com, who I think was among the first to ditch the anger angle. Now he's just a chill dude who talks about games he likes playing. His content was actually pretty formative for my high school years. Got me to expand my gaming horizons and tastes a lot.

It's hard to be cheerful, yukking it up about goofy media & video games while I see just how evil my neighbour country's government behaves on a daily basis.
