It’s official: I’m running for #BellCounty Commissioner! I’ve lived in #Killeen for 34 years & have a record of getting things done for our community. As councilman, I helped pave the way for projects like Killeen Regional Airport and the Family Recreation Center at Lions Club Park, among others. /1

In 2018, #Killeen had the lowest racial homeownership gap in the United States. Now, we have the beginning of an affordable housing crisis on the doorstep of our community. Making sure our property taxes stay affordable is part of why I'm running. (1/2)

On Sept. 11, 2001, I was less than 4 months into my first term as a #Killeen City Councilmember. I remember speaking to the city engineer when the first plane hit the North Tower, and we both glanced at the TV screen in horror. (1/4)
