Any time I feel jealous of my cat for her life of absolute luxury, I remember that she can’t have chocolate or coffee. It doesn’t really make up for the fact that she doesn’t have to deal with fascism or global warming, but it does make me feel marginally better.

We had to collect 180K signatures to put proposition A on the ballot to increase minimum wage to $13.75 and guarantee sick pay for Missourians. The measure won.

Just now, the Missouri House voted to overturn our will. Without signatures…with a vote. They do the bidding of the wealthy.
