Quick timeline cleanse: The girls had a spa day yesterday and I caught this pose when I came in from taking out the garbage. I THINK they thought they should hit the town. I suggested bed instead. I won.

New at www.gracefullyandfrankly.com Queenagers Erin & Lisa discuss Bot Spotting (or BS), and the slog of watching TV after 3 yrs. Our new motto: FEEL it - Don’t FEED it! And why Erin had to make an emergency trip to the medical clinic. YIKES! FREE thanks to Canadians @EnvyPillow and @SierraSil.

You know, we really need to take care of ourselves. And hey - taking a bathroom break prevents us from arguing with someone (or a bot) on the internet!

Join me for this famous poem by Canadian writer Robert Service: a fascinating tale set in the Yukon and based on true events. We'll start with a brief relaxation, then Service's poem, and the events that inspired him. Then, as always, gentle waves help you Drift off to a cozy rest. Sweet Dreams.

Today's blog at www.erindavis.com - What we can do when we're feeling helpless and yes, it starts right here at your keyboard. May it bring you the inspiration you need.

On a weekend with earth-shaking news, this is the best I could do today. Leave it to someone with a better way with words than most, and certainly better than me.

You're welcome....

We often forget this wonderful wisdom: we can't control what happens to us, but we can choose what we do about it. Good luck as we head further into 2026. You decide.

Ep 158 at www.gracefullyandfrankly.com is FRESH & free today for '26! Who are our TWITS (This Week in Totally Stupid) for being so wrong? Falling off the Mel Robbins bandwagon; hear why. PLUS Lisa’s big dating surprise, a sugar-free success story, a personal word for the year ahead
January 1, 2026 at 1:13 PM
I wish I knew to whom this should be attributed, and I've seen it in so many places. But truer words were never expressed as we turn the proverbial and literal calendar into the year ahead. Anyone else feel this to the depths of their soul?

Here's to the poets, the dreamers and such -
Who aid us in keeping our feelings in touch.
To see through the cloud and the grey and the mist,
Whose words leave our hearts touched; our souls gently kissed. e.

Made you a little movie - a wish and a thank you. Big hugs sent your way, my friend. Got plans for tonight?

Join me (free) at www.erindavis.com as we take you to the forest for the final days of a stately, majestic and aged tree that reminisces about its many years in existence, and compares its lifespan with that of an insect. A truly beautiful story that will have you Drifting into a sweet sleep.

Don't know who made this list, but I want to be their friend. YAY US!

Happy 4th Birthday to this little girl who found herself in a prism rainbow the other day, and later gave herself a time out (for no apparent reason). She's a sweet, girl whose name Livi could often be short for obLIVIous, but we are so glad she's part of our family!

Hope the lights stay up for another month, and in the meantime, here's something else to brighten your day. E.
