Yes, as of last week, we "officially" left X - but we've been winding down our presence for a long time now.

Interestingly, comparing our final conference on X (Winter 2024) post-for-post, on Bsky we had nearly triple the likes, six times the reposts and twelves times the comments/quotes.
Association for the Study of Animal Behaviour (a UK-based learned society promoting the scientific study of animal behaviour since 1936; supports rigorous and ethical animal‑behaviour science through conferences, grants, publishing, and education) leaves X (8.629 followers)

Finally out our paper 'Continuing recovery of wolves in Europe' published yesterday in PLOS Sustainability & Transformation.

Very grateful to have been active part of this article and worked with LCIE-IUCN members. I hope it gets red & shared widely!

🇺🇳 The Standing Committee of the #Bern Convention just voted down the protection status of the #wolf 👉 This will not solve the challenges for livestock. This is not based on science but was political. #Wolves play a crucial role in ecosystems. And: we cannot allow risking the EU Habitats Directive! 🐺
A @coe.int committee will discuss tomorrow whether to lower the protection status of the wolf, after a request from the European Union.

So-called 'negative results' still often go unpublished - leading to systematic bias in the literature.

But tools to reduce bias (like Registered Reports) are spreading.
