Made it back home from the Austin Film Festival last night, and I'm not sure it's withdrawal from it or what (honestly, I'm still tired and recovering from that), but I also kind of feel a sense of emptiness and a sense of "Now what?"
Anyone else feel that, and how did you recover?

Update: Didn't make the cut as I suspected (they were only choosing 26 scripts out of over 2000 entries).
Was upset, but getting some sleep helped. I feel better now.
Oh well. Moving on

I hear from a contest about my short script tomorrow, although I'm more anxious about my reaction to the results than the results themselves. Despite knowing rejection is a part of the game, it tends to knock the wind out of me for a few days. Got to work on that

Finally got over my procrastination and obtained a new writing record! Four and a half pages of my sci-fi in just a little over an hour! Also, finally reached the inciting incident! (it's on page 23, but that can be fixed in revisions...I hope)
