The problem is you have a 2 party system (first past the post), and in a lot of states you need to be registered to vote in the primaries for that party.
And in my opinion (EU) if they vote against the extension of the ACA they are not human.

A simple question. If the ACA saves 50,000 lives a year (not preventing deaths, turn it around) why is the GOP against it?
It's not about preventing deaths, it's about keeping humans (Mothers/fathers/sons/daughters/loved ones) alive. Spend time with them (even argue and disagree). Just a thought

I am not an US citizen, but not extending the ACA would mean an extra 50.000 deaths a year, for me that is mass murder, if you don't want to extend it that means those 7 senators and all the republicans are potential mass murderers. NEVER cave to a bully and that is what they have done. cowards.
