More than 1,300 people have been executed in #Iran in 2025 - the highest figure recorded in decades. Thousands more are at risk as Iranian authorities continue to weaponize the death penalty.

At @amnesty.org we call on the international community to take urgent action to stop this horror.

Israel state-backed settler violence against Palestinians is a daily matter in the West Bank.

In 2025, there have been over 860 violent settler attacks in the West Bank

World Leaders have a legal obligation to dismantle Israel’s unlawful occupation and to bring its system of apartheid to an end.
October 22, 2025 at 9:44 AM
It is time to seize this moment, to end the horror, to heal what can still be healed, and to protect what remains of our shared humanity

Let us not falter. Let us rise. Our struggle to end Israel's genocide against Palestinians in Gaza, its cruel apartheid and illegal occupation is not over.

On International #SafeAbortionDay, there is an important reminder: #Abortion is a #HumanRight

There are no bans on abortion, there are bans on SAFE abortions

At @amnesty.org, we demand access to safe and legal abortions worldwide

The Trump administration’s call to ‘reframe’ the global asylum system would harm people seeking safety

Amnesty is proud to stand with many many others in calling out the few who plunder the earth at the expense of the majority. Human rights are not for sale, nor is the planet on which we all depend. @erikaguevararosas.bsky.social
The richest 1% emit as much carbon pollution as the poorest 5 billion people combined.
Exploitation of Earth's resources is benefiting the wealthiest at the expense of the majority

Is our civilization worth risking for the wealthiest 1%?🚨

Famine has officially been declared in Gaza City. A devastating confirmation of what @amnesty.org and others have warned for months. This is a man-made catastrophe. This is the result of Israel's genocide.

At @amnesty.org we strongly condemn Israel’s deliberate killing of journalists in an air strike on a media tent in Gaza.

Killing the messenger doesn’t change the truth. Israel continues to commit genocide against Palestinians, while the world watches in despair and some governments remain complicit

Israel is continuing to use starvation as a method of warfare and as a tool to commit genocide against Palestinians in the occupied Gaza Strip

Amid starvation, at least 500 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces while seeking aid at the private USA-Israeli "aid" hubs in #Gaza.

While the world looks elsewhere, #Israel continues its genocide against the Palestinians in #Gaza.

It is deeply concerning that counter-terrorism powers are being used to target protest groups like Palestinian Action.

This is just the latest in a series of measures taken by the UK government to suppress protests, rather than applying pressure on Israel to end its genocide in Gaza.

Israeli and Iranian authorities must abide by their obligations under international humanitarian law to protect civilians.

Further escalation of these hostilities could have dangerous and far-reaching consequences for civilians across the region.
