The bad news is the person who was originally doing my cosplay unexpectedly cancelled and closed the shop.
The good news is I got a refund and I’ve already found a few other sellers.

Sorted out the body measurements and clothing lengths for the cosplay.
I went to a tuxedo shop for the measurements.
The clothing lengths I did myself based on my height and actual clothes (my math may be slightly off, but it should be fine)

I did a lot of research on this and I decided to get a Shulk cosplay made for next year’s Comic-Con.
I already have a prop Monado and I’m going to get a wig and some hiking boots.
The costume is being made by a seller on Etsy for about $600. A bit steep, but otherwise fair.

I decided to get a Nintendo Switch 2 because I was sick of the performance issues with the OG model. Still going to keep my old Switch, but I migrated all my data to the Switch 2.

I decided (last minute) to book a one-day pass to New York Comic-Con in October.
I’ve been meaning to go to Comic-Con for years, but just never did it.
Starting in 2026, I’m planning to go back regularly and I’ll probably do a two-day pass and book a hotel nearby.

In all honesty… it’s cute and way better than I expected. I just started it, but so far I’m enjoying it.

It’s only March (soon to be April), but today it felt like June. It was 80 degrees so I could walk outside in shorts and flip-flops.

I just got back home from my second Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, CA. It was a busy show, but I met a lot of people, saw a lot of interesting products, attended some lectures and got a lot of cool photos.

I went to get my car repaired because a rodent chewed through a wire. Went to a local auto shop and they repaired the car in half a day. Total cost about $140.
