Just read The Electric State and - not having seen it - I’m wondering what the hell was up with the Netflix adaptation. There’s no Chris Pratt character. The book is all sad tension, not an action romp.

My first piece on canvas is done! Pretty pleased with it, and there will definitely be more to come. 🤘
An acrylic canvas painting depicting Dracula's castle from Castlevania lit by a bright red moon, and sitting amongst high mountains, and a deep pine Forest, that all transitions into a drop of blood spattering at the bottom of the canvas. I am holding up my finished painting, while wearing a bright blue shirt, black rimmed glasses, and my black leather cowboy hats topped with steampunk goggles.

In the market for a good near-black metallic acrylic paint.

AP Warpaint Fanatics Gunmetal is a dark grey. I like it but I want something darker.

Turbo Dork's Six Shooter gives good results air brushed from primer but I not when trying to hand brush in small amounts.

Any recs? #MiniaturePainting

An amnizu, a greater devil in #DnD. This one is Thavius Kreeg in my #DescentIntoAvernus campaign; I brought him back in the finale as a leader of a war and rather than the cowering wimp he was written as. #MiniaturePainting

This is one of the most detailed miniatures I've ever painted. Though I prefer the overall fantasy aesthetic of Age of Sigmar, I do enjoy this gothic industrial hybrid.

I’ve never painted one of these ill-tempered spacemen from #Warhammer40K before. Another take-home mini started at one of the Games Workshop Hang Out and Hobby events at #GenCon. I finished it up with proper decals to give the classic faction representation in my display case. #MiniaturePainting

One of the projects I carried home with me from the Games Workshop Hang Out and Hobby events at #GenCon.
A painted miniature of a Stormcast Liberator from Games Workshop’s Age of Sigmar. It is a soldier in mostly golden armor that covers its entire body. The armor has been riveted into the flesh underneath. The shield is deep blue with gold trim. It features a device with a golden face with a red gem in the forehead that is surrounded by white thunderbolts radiating outward from it. The pauldrons of the armor are a deep blue. One is adorned with a golden thunderbolt. The other features a smaller version of the device on the shoulder. The soldier has a gladius sword sheathed on its hip. He is wielding a large dark metal war hammer with a red gem in the center of the head on either side. The Friday night TV watching crew and I were between shows so we played a game of Atma, a true zero-prep card-based RPG last night.

Will take a couple sessions to familiarize myself with the design conceits and make the best use of them, but would definitely play again.
