Just got in from #work I was soaked through. The rain is so heavy and the cloud so low that you can’t see the top of the mountain on the other side of the valley about a mile away.

#Work rained off today so I’m busy around the house. I’ve got CDs going and I’m playing this great #PeteBrown best of. I haven’t played it for a year or two but I’m really enjoying it today.

Bit of luck in the #charityshop today. Picked up a couple of records. #theband and #thebeatles 50p for The Band and £2 for The Beatles.

Stopped for a pasty and chat with the old man I’m working for today. Ex miner who used to play rugby and box. He said his legs are a bit slow now but if he did manage connect a punch he would still put me on my arse. Love it.

Digging out a patch of ground for a small patio for a lovely old bloke today. It’s tipping down with rain but I still prefer this to my old stuck in front of a screen job. He’s already made me tea and stopped to talk at the back door. Great.

I’ve finished my volunteer #work for the day, taken the car to have a couple of new tyres fitted and I’m home. Time for some music. I like this #record because its got quite a stripped down sound to it. #JimiHendrix #PeopleHellandAngels

Just finished this book that I got as a Christmas present. It’s a really good read. I hadn’t thought much about how my part of the world was made but this is written in a very engaging way. #Tir #CarwynGraves

Beautiful day out there today. Walked a few miles down the old road. You see the odd vehicle along here occasionally but they either live in the single house along here or they are lost. #walk
