Gio Reyna shows back up, scores in 4 minutes. Well then.

Well Bahn Mi.

I pay almost zero attention to football, but am I to take it from my TL that the New York Jets are the Minnesota Twins of the NFL?

I thought Dick Cheney was roughly 84 years old when he was vice president. Did he just not age for 20 years? Which, in truth, would not be a surprise given, you know, everything.

Deserved for Newcastle. They've dominated so far. Spurs getting overrun.

If the Thunder are going to play 2OT games every night, their athletic training staff should get a big bonus.

Lends some evidence to my belief that Dillingham just isn't good enough to play, and the Wolves' staff knows it. Conley backing up DiVincenzo makes some sense, though it leaves the 2nd unit questionable offensively.
From @chrisbhaynes.bsky.social on X:

Sources: Minnesota Timberwolves will award Donte DiVincenzo the starting point guard spot to open the 2025-26 NBA season. Mike Conley will remain a vital piece.

Heard about the Frog in Portland, and, well, the Super Frog that Saved Tokyo doesn't take competition lightly.
October 10, 2025 at 6:59 PM
Lucky to escape that half 0-0. Really a terrible performance from Spurs.
September 30, 2025 at 7:48 PM
When the Lynx acquired Courtney Williams, I thought: Nice, she's a good player, she'll help. Um...I did not expect this. What a player.
September 21, 2025 at 10:56 PM
We'll put that one in the "all wins count" category. Defense was good, but man, Spurs created nothing in attack today.
September 16, 2025 at 8:53 PM
A shocking number of misplaced passes from Spurs in this second half so far.
September 16, 2025 at 8:17 PM
USMNT absolutely shambolic at the back. Just awful.
September 6, 2025 at 9:51 PM
So the grand jury refused to indict the sandwich thrower with relish?

They decided the case simply didn't cut the mustard?
August 27, 2025 at 2:40 PM
Perhaps this is equally true of other clubs of Spurs' size, but their inability to finish deals that seem, to mix sports, on the one yard line, is something to behold.

Not in a good way. Sigh.

Getting gazzumped by Arsenal?

Why yes, I do hate everything.
August 20, 2025 at 6:56 PM
A little surprisingly, I don't miss shopping at Target at all. Thought I might, but I don't.
August 20, 2025 at 2:33 PM
So nobody was willing to meet the Pohlad's price for the Twins. I get avarice, and I understand that it's a money printing machine when you slash payroll, but how much did they want?
August 13, 2025 at 3:19 PM
We can't have nice things.
A letter from the Pohlad family:

Carrington has been huge for the Lynx since arriving. Great acquisition. They've really just separated from the rest of the league at this point. In great shape to defend their title...

...oh.

Yes, still mad about it.
August 10, 2025 at 6:34 PM
This is embarrassing from the Aces. Non-competitive. Biggest disappointment in the league this season.
August 2, 2025 at 8:33 PM
Have spent the last four hours watching Son Hueng-min highlights and crying a little bit.
August 2, 2025 at 5:00 PM
My deadline reaction: Blame them (especially ownership) for getting into this position, but once there they had a plan and executed it. Tough to see the team gutted like this, but if you're gonna be a seller, then sell.
July 31, 2025 at 10:11 PM
I would understand the Correa trade better if really any of the Twins young infielders were having decent seasons. Still, it's something Correa probably wanted, and I can understand the Twins moving him while they can since he's probably not central to the next good Twins team.
July 31, 2025 at 8:24 PM
What is the biggest scandal in sports history and why is it the Wolves not making the summer league playoffs despite going 4-0?
