I don't post porn or intentionally follow such accounts. But neither do I perform purity tests on posts or people. I "like" various artistic and recreational nudist content ... which you might not.
Nudism is … community.

Naked table tennis is wonderful. So few people play, though, even at nudist resorts.

A really beautiful area. And well done! Was this filmed by drone?

Thanks for posting. An entertaining and unusually honest article about nudism. This mirrors my experience, in that even vanilla gay nudist events more readily acknowledge sex—even when officially off-limits—than straight events, following the stereotype.

I would say it in reverse, that U.S. naturism is an elaboration of nudism, given that naturism includes a variably-described value system with core elements like respect, nature, etc. Just a different perspective. Your explanation to the questioner was accurate and helpful, I think.

Were the memes messages / photos especially compelling during that interval, just by luck?

This is a rational approach (which I have championed in the past). It would seem a straightforward distinction. Unfortunately, it's a historical and contemporary rarity.

Hmm. So your notion of diversity doesn't include single naturists? 🤔

Because I follow fellow nudists 🙂👣

I appreciate a good discussion. But that's only possible when all parties are open to hearing information that potentially disconfirms their current beliefs.

Since your goal wasn't to truly consider my perspective but instead was to change my mind, our discussion terminated prematurely.
March 20, 2025 at 4:55 AM
I see. Like many people, you'd already made up your mind before we exchanged ideas. Nothing new about that... just disappointing.
March 19, 2025 at 8:14 PM
Ok, so I've spent 15 minutes attempting to explain why I got ticked off with your initial post, and you ignore it. Now I see you've responded further without reading the rest of the 6-post thread and have concluded that there's nothing more to say. So apparently I've wasted my time.
March 19, 2025 at 8:12 PM
a discussion with these earlier points in mind, I'd be interested to hear your perspective. /end

erections differently than we deal with those that are encouraged for sexual gratification.

As I mentioned, your initial post and its follow up seemed not to take into account these details, making me skeptical that you'd taken sufficient time to consider them.

otherwise virtuous extolling of the human body. Finally, I attempted to assert that if naturist society nonetheless concludes that hiding erections is appropriate, then at minimum 1) it should be for a valid reason and 2) we should make a good-faith attempt to deal with natural, spontaneous 4/

about exhibitionists or exhibitionist behavior, 2) why observable behavior is a more accurate way to assess a person's intent than is simply guessing or assuming intent, 3) that spontaneous erections are rare but do exist, 4) and that telling people to hide erections seems to violate naturists' 3/

That glib line seemed as if you were saying--despite my considered effort to explain my thinking before you entered--that either you'd not read my argument or had read it and ignored it.

As I said, I'm happy to address (later tonight) any questions, but I've explained 1) I wasn't writing 2/

I typically try to avoid being condescending. In this case, though, in your very first post, you appear to ignore everything I'd written to the other person in our exchange... and you ended that first post with the words, "It is not that difficult." 1/
March 19, 2025 at 7:45 PM
I'm fine with leaving the conversation here. We disagree.
March 19, 2025 at 7:38 PM
It's also not that difficult to read the entire thread before commenting. Your post indicates that you've not done so. But if you choose to read it, I'd be happy to engage any questions.
March 19, 2025 at 6:36 PM
Ok, that's great--for yourself. But we shouldn't believe that others think the same.

Also, I've heard similar statements previously... a penis is a minor part of the body... so why make a big deal out of the rare, spontaneous erection? Maybe erections are on pedestals?
March 19, 2025 at 5:36 PM
But we're not talking about exhibitionists. We're discussing naturists who might have a spontaneous erection that they *don't* want because they understand it's incompatible with naturism.
March 19, 2025 at 5:30 PM
I disagree. It's not an exaggeration to say that everyone is assumed guilty if everyone--regardless of actual guilt--is treated as if they all were guilty of bad "intentions." Again, we can't see or measure intent, but only behavior. Rules based on reading others' minds are misguided and unreliable.
