Hi everyone, I'm Erica.
🎲🍁I'm a full-time game designer out of Canada.
🛍️I work in both the Mass Market & Hobby games space.
🎞️I make stuff for movies, shows, comics & brands.
🧸I also sometimes work on toys.
🎧I co-host a pretty cool podcast called The Ludology

Nice to meet you!
Beat the Parents "Let's Roll" is hitting shelves in North America and Europe! The learning experience designing this device was intense but incredible. We had to design everything from the games, appearance, timing, sound effects and even the voice lines for this cube-shaped gaming compendium.

I'm putting back on my teaching cap as part of the GenCon's Game Design Academy on Wednesday, July 30th in Indianapolis. I'll be running a session called "Thinking of Your Game as a Product". Tickets are FREE! but limited so please sign up soon if interested.

An incredibly cool gift arrived at my house this week! Not only was it a complete surprise, but this is my first Sideshow Collectibles piece and it's a childhood fav. The detailing on this thing is INSANE and the box is shaped like a VHS sleeve. Again, incredible. And very grateful, thank you💕

This is sassy, moody, middle school teen approved! 🥳 She even played the song that I didn’t know existed.

Thanks @ericabouyouris.bsky.social for making something that tricked my kid into having fun with old mom.
What?!?! They just put this out. A banner thrift day for cozy, cute, party games.

I wanna try this out in the teens!

Sometimes when I design a game, I know all the right elements are there but they're not working together the way they should. It's amazing that reworking the same components can create so many different play experiences and the goal is to find the right one AND the optimum way the parts interact.
