Interesting that the head of AC franchise stepped down a few weeks ago, and now Ubisoft is trending with speculation. Well, here goes! AC which dedicated itself to having a diverse team of people, is now bought by another group of small d*ck males, Saudis/MAGA/etc. who will now ruin the 🧵

The key to realistically paint materials is to understand the "Specularity Spectrum" (term made up by me).
Once you understand how reflective or not something is, you can roughly deduce how much you need to emphasize form shadows vs reflections (highlights), or whether to combine both.
