Visited an art exhibition, faced my own arrogance

Finally got the lace curtain I’ve been meaning to get for this diorama I made almost two years ago…

I try not to drag negativity to my feed but I'm so pissed.
I saw this happen first-hand in tumblr. YEARS of diligent tagging culture, WIPED in an instance, because those tags were directly used to report people!

I'm begging people, DON'T stop labeling NSFW! Complain to bluesky instead!

You need TRUST for people to tag their art properly! Artists WANT to be able to tag their art properly, to make sure those who don't want to see it, don't have to!

Suddenly changing the rules makes those tags into TARGETS. Nobody will want to tag their stuff if it means "oh cool, a hit-list!"!
