It is 3am here in Portimao, and blowing hard. I woke up with a bang. The dock lines stretched or slipped , and the bow hit the dock! — Portimao’da sabah 03:00 ve deli gibi esiyor. Burun iskeleye vurunca uyandım.

We loaded CLARA’s mast on a trailer. The standing rigging and other jobs including paint work will resume at Portimao. — CLARA’nın direğini treylere yükledik. Çarmıhlar ve ıstralyaların yenilenmesi ile boya işleri Portimao’da hallolacak.

I already had collaborated with Dr Jay Barlow and team to survey Beaked Whales across the Pacific and on North Atlantic. These surveys provided raw data to several scientific papers.

The chainplates are finally completed. On the left is the one for the diagonals, in the middle is the one for the shrouds with a loop to receive the spinnaker pole for a jury rig in case of dismasting. The rightmost one will be the bracket below deck to receive the thrubolts.
