#Mindfulness #meditation not only can lead to pleasant states of peace and tranquility, but consistent practice actually rewires your brain. When you practice, you develop skills that become your new way of relating to your life - in much more easeful and satisfying ways.

One thing I find interesting about the echo chamber complaint is that an echo chamber just won a presidential election.

Put aside the convo of whether it’s “good” or “bad” for a moment. The far right has devoted enormous resources + time to building echo chambers & loathes spaces they don’t control
The "bluesky is an echo chamber" think pieces that keep popping up really tickle me because they show how certain people genuinely believe social media should be for debating and arguing and not talking about the things that make you happy and sharing art with the world.

Thanks Nita! I don’t really want to be famous, but I do want to connect with as many people as I can to help them learn mindfulness using the Unified Mindfulness system, because it’s been life-changing for me and I’ve had many students who are blown away by it too. Sharing UM is my passion!

I teach mindfulness at work not to help the company make more profit, but because the people I work with are people. Sharing mindfulness with them helps their lives and improves our corporate culture. Which in turn makes it a more pleasant place to be.
