Oooh sick sick. The worldbuilding in SU is such a fun thing to explore im not sure how there wasn't a giant wave of oc's and ideas. Or maybe i was just under a rock lol. The agates always had my interest and we only saw Blue diamonds-

I know huntermsmut did a set on the gems being sex toys which i found awesome since it works as theres gem objects in the show,hell BD has a singing comb lmao. its pretty neat/hot and you could do a lot with gems since they arent limited with flesh and blood. Ironic though, cuz theres barely art lol

It's so niche its insane. You already have to through people willing to do snuff/torture, then people that'd want to do that in a way that makes sense and not making the gems have blood or guts. Its just sadly rare and i haven't seen a lot of artists on it aside from you, or maybe im just missing it

"taking it back." That's lighting up the monkey part of my brain there. how have people not thought of this yet? A gem essence extraction chamber sounds awesome. I for one am glad gems aren't purely flesh and bones, leads to creative ideas like that, and the illumination idea too

And I totally get being sidetracked, i'm exactly the same with trying to build my own oc's, just stuck in the perpetual "ooh what about ____" but i don't see it as a bad thing when content is still being made at the end of the day
