According to Catholic tradition, mistletoe must be hung on the 1st Sunday of Advent, before taking down last year's mistletoe without letting it touch the ground and burning it in the fireplace.

Dried mistletoe appears to be a Golden branch...

This is one of the last old elms in France, as all have been decimated by graphiosis. A century ago, these trees flourished all over the country, and were among the largest and oldest.
