Watched half of my coworkers fired today, most of whom were 60 days from being out of probationary status. You know what’s government waste? The amount of money it costs to hire, onboard, then fire federal employees. This has created EXPONENTIAL waste and ruined my friends’ lives in the process.

Lua becomes the patron for Mol’s gang. She’s known for using her position as a patriar to sponsor orphaned and displaced tieflings. Astarion (lovingly) chides her about bringing home strays (he teaches Mol’s kids rogue tactics and looks out for them too in truth)

For Lua, being a tiefling. Her journey parallels how I felt about my blackness growing up - initially felt othered and kinda hated it, went through some shit and learned to love it, now wears it as armor and wields it as a weapon to protect other, more vulnerable tieflings.

Lua associates night blooming jasmine with Astarion. They met at a wedding in Baldur’s Gate, and the patriars in question had a beautiful night garden; it was on the air the first time they spoke, and she’s associated it with him ever since.

In the Gate, Lua is perceived as a fairly well known bard prior to becoming Lady Ancunin. She rarely sings due to a disability, so she’s kind of mysterious and quiet, which is good because she’s a spy. While adventuring, she’s very goal oriented and is often asked if she knows how to sit still

the impression i have is that artists with huge followings aren't having too much trouble rebuilding on bsky, but small artists are having just as much trouble as on twitter

You know those videos where capybaras are just surrounded by other creatures, unbothered. That’s Quince. She’s the person who gets handed a stranger’s baby to watch and is like oh, okay. Happy as a clam around the smols, it makes her miss her baby dearly. She and Gale have a small brood eventually
