Finally, some excitement.

The Bude changed its speed from Warp 3.4 to 3.7.

Not sure why, but we'll get to Archer IV approximately 16 hours earlier than planned.

Two nights of staring at the Brig. I'm so freaking bored. The Bude is still making its way to Archer IV. We've been told we'll be there for at least five days, so all crew can beam down for a rest and relaxation.

Fun.

So I have a week of nights, 00:00-0800.

Where will I be based? The Bridge? Engineering? Nope.

The Brig, a week of starting at an empty brig. I've still not been to the bridge yet.

On the plus side, Ensign Malcor makes a phenomenal Rice Pudding.

Eating my breakfast in "The Kabin" when I finally saw the Captain for the first time, Captain Sh'lev, She's an Andorian. I sat at attention when she walked in, she gave me an odd look, got her breakfast and walked out.

Then I realised I still had half a sausage hanging out my mouth.

Sorry been absent. Spent two days manning a console in Transporter room 1. Fantastic, travelling at warp 5.3 to Archer IV means no one is beaming on or off. So exciting.

I'M SO BORED!!!!!

NOOOOOO!!!!!! While I was asleep the Bude had met up with the Odyssey a couple of days earlier than expected, the transfer was made in less than an hour and I missed it.

Gutted, I am gutted.

New mission, We are taking supplies to Archer IV, be there in two weeks.

No post yesterday, why? Because I spent the day in Sickbay. Turns out the Brig isn't shakeproof when the Bude makes sharp turns...can you do a sharp turns in space? And ended up twatting myself on the console. Day off for me, gonna spend it in my cabin and sleep.

My duty today is the Brig again...and will be the same tomorrow as well. This is what I get for finishing 14th in a class of 25.

Still, I may be able to get some reading in, Ensign Malcor gave me some books to read, about the farming techniques of the Husnock circa 2150.

I spent 8 hours staring at an Empty Brig, I was so frigging bored. Four years at the Academy just to sit in an empty room. I got to meet the first officer though, Lieutenant Commander S'kon when he did a surprise inspection. Nice chap. Only four days until I see the USS Odyssey. So excited.

Brig duty, I've been given Brig duty... despite not having anyone to watch. Still, it's vital to ships functions and I don't trust the night Helmsman, shifty lips, so who knows. Could be some excitement. Either way I'll do it to the best of my ability....fucking bored though.

Turns out the cleaning the Nacelle Struts was just a hazing for the newbies. Could have told me that BEFORE I cleaned both nacelles. Still, five days until I see my first Galaxy class ship.

I like this ship though, the Bude is exciting. I wonder what my first proper shift will involve.

My new Bunk mates are.... interesting. Ensign Loxi, a Denobulan. Ensign Malcor, a Xindi Primate and Ensign Wang, A Human.

Loxi is so optimistic it's annoying. I stubbed my toe and his reply was "At least you have nine more" and gave me a weird smile.

Just arrived at my new Assignment. The USS Bude at Starbase 47.

My CO seems nice, Lieutenant Junior Grade Flynn. He's assigned me to clean the Nacelle struts. Fun times.

Our first assignment is to deliver cargo to the USS Odyssey, six days away. I get to see a Galaxy class ship. Nice.
