Hey I'm Jason, I do freelancing all over the place but mostly for TCG Player. I also write about games, tech, and fitness on other sites.

On top of that, I do videos interviewing creators, and also showing off the D&D homebrew bits I make so you can use them.

Patrick Dane's final piece for This Week in Videogames was his 2025 Game of the Year list, which he tackled with great enthusiasm and excitement.

As an avid follower of live-service games, he was eager to make sure the standout titles in the space this year received their due.

Thank you, Patrick.

Seeing someone talking about wanting to play D&D has a very similar effect on me as seeing a cat out in the wild

I've known Pat for a while, but over the last year, having accidentally gotten him and @olliecragg.bsky.social hooked on D&D, I had the pleasure of getting to know him a lot better and getting to talk to him daily and game multiple times a week.

I don't know if @colbypoulson.bsky.social will agree, but as someone that does D&D builds, I find Conjure Minor Elementals to be a frustrating spell because if you'rebuilding for melee, it's basically always the right choice

This year's mostly been a big old shit show honestly.

But, I got myself and my family through it, and I've had a couple of good notes as well.

I'm just gonna work out harder and set myself some goals and keep going.

Considering Streeting's well stated belief autism, ADHD etc, along with mental health issues, are "overdiagnosed", I won't hold my breath for this doing anything other than being used to cut support, along with opportunities for diagnosis, for people who need it. #r4today
