A thread of frustration.
"Play your own way" I play this game with the naive thought I can win the whole thing. To me it seems there is no merit in thinking outside the box. If you make "sub-optimal" choices according to the "elite" it is all luck, no skill. This cause EV models basically 1/7

Obviously rolling transfer. Is it insane to bench Bowen here? West Ham so toothless, watched full game against QPR. Expect Brighton-Bournemouth to be high scoring and Le Fee (maybe) still on pens.

Look up variance in the dictionary. Pen miss, huge chances missed and a sub cameo that deserved at least 1 return

I'm creating a way to measure the defensive & attacking values of tackles & interceptions.
It's imperfect but before going down every potential rabbit hole of deciding which data to include and how to factor it, I am forcing one requirement on myself.
It must pass the eye test = usable everywhere

I am over the disappointment now. No need to bring yourself down hindsight wise. I was 100% doing Semenyo to Cherki. Thiago to Bowen was imo put myself in a position to get lucky, well…. in fairness Thiago stats terrible for a while and entry point Bowen nice.

Hopefully a turning point in what has been a struggle of a season. I expect to obviously fall a bit after GW finishes but 97 all out is just what I wanted for Christmas. Strange Foden and Thiago my only blanks, this game!
