Received a letter from POTUS today purporting to remove me as Commissioner and Chair of the FEC. There's a legal way to replace FEC commissioners-this isn't it. I've been so fortunate to serve the American people and stir up some good trouble along the way. That's not changing anytime soon.

The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) offered payouts to its entire workforce. The CIA has become the first intelligence agency to offer employees an opportunity to leave their positions in exchange for approximately eight months of pay and benefits.

Trying to get this all straight... so the plan is to have Secretary Kegstands, Secretary Brainworm, and Secretary Tombstone Piledriver keep the Dotard occupied while Revenge of the Nerds puts hardworking civil servants out of work and feeds our Constitution to the woodchipper.

I honestly believe our most powerful position in a toxic time that feeds on cynicism, apathy,& despair is to genuinely care and act for a better world.

Cynicism is our enemy. We should check it, incl. on the left. It’s not intellectually superior. It’s the virus they’re trying to infect us with. NO

I think a lot about this quote from Anaïs Nin’s diary from 1939-1944:

“America is in even greater danger because of its cult of toughness, its hatred of sensitivity, and someday it may have to pay a price for this, because atrophy of feeling creates criminals”.

My white women sky people… I offer a read for you. When most white feminists mention women’s rights, they don’t REALLY mean Black women. I encourage us all to know the history and do better. Black women continue to labor for everyone while simultaneously being made invisible.

Writing a final paper for my ENG 550 course... an analysis of the language elements and style of Mark Twain over the course of his career. I also just realized that today is his birthday. If he hadn't gone out with Halley's Comet in 1910, he'd be 189 years old! #Edusky
