A few years ago I was struggling to describe the cluster-f of emission / overconsumption / care problems we face because the usual models sucked.
So I made them this Fried Egg of Sustainability.
1. Society exists in Ecology.
2. Economy exists in Society which exists in Ecology.
3. Current state.

This is some great LCA information on different types of insulation. I’m often asked about the transportation emission of straw. Although in the mid-west those miles tend to be the lowest it is great to have an apples to apples comparison
#Strawbuilding #Strawhouse is so obviously convincing that it's almost funny that I still have to explain it everywhere.
Study shows how far you can transport insulation materials so that it still extracts more CO2 than it emits.
Straw doesn't even fit fully on the scale.
