First loop of the scene, I want to make sure loops like this aren't ever hung on too long and there's always some kind of variation with each repetition like with the saliva here. Audio really helps with that too...had a time acting this shot. >w>

Been working on a small-scale personal project after my Teaser went live on YouTube.

Finally finished off painting the environments.
I wanted to put emphasis on the colour of the sky and how it shifts, from bright pink in the morning to gold when their own crystals alight to deep purple at night, including the influence of the clouds.

I always love finally getting the colours completed, it gives the characters so much more dynamic life in their expressions and motions. Especially in their eyes.

I've finally completed all the lines for the scene!
Now all that's left are the colours, backgrounds, lighting and audio.
I felt I was very steady when doing linework this time, though I've still got that signature warble. It was a lot of work but it feels really good to get this far with the scene.

But now, I'm finally back to working on the teaser! Taking it easy to start with because it's been a while and I'm not feeling 100% yet.

I wanted a look of sleek, flexible efficency for him.
Would have to slim down details for the sake of the animation, 'cuz I'm not drawing all those muscles every frame. x3
