There is a major issue however. The population in the EU is not ready for war. The eastern countries/baltics might be. But Germany, France, Italy etc. are not. They have no idea what a major conflict looks like, I am afraid. The leadership is to blame, cause we keep getting wrapped in cotton.

1/4 If Ukraine needs 800,000, the EU should have a common army of 500,000 right now, with the possibility of rapid expansion. The commander-in-chief should rotate for a 2-4-year term. First, with Finland or Poland. Then Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia together.
