It's Train Thursday! Went digging through the archives and it reminded me of how much I want summer to return 🥲 Either way, have some engines!
BR Standard Class 2 78019 and Class 37 37714 at the Great Central Railway. Two Class 37s! 37714 and D6700 at the Great Central Railway. BR 9F 92214, a presumed sighting of 1705 Sparrowhawk and a possible BR Standard Class 2 in the background, all making for a delightful mix at the Great Central Railway.

It's Train Thursday! A lot of heritage railways where I live tend to do lots of maintenance in January and February. Luckily Javelins exist and I like them!

Happy holidays and happy Train Thursday! I've pulled out a couple of photos of Flying Scotsman during its visit to the Bluebell Railway for its Centenary!

It's that time of week again! For Train Thursday, here are the two trains that helped me get to Nottingham last week. I encountered Trainbow again :)
395012 Trainbow at London St Pancras. The second consecutive time I've encountered this train when going up to London. EMR Class 222, 222101 at St Pancras International. These are wonderfully noisy engines with a satisfying growl to them.

For today's Train Thursday, here's a photo from last week's excursion to the Bluebell Railway! They have this little cutout of Stepney at the Steamworks where you can pretend to be the driver :)
A painted cutout of the famous Terrier engine Stepney. There's a hole where people can stick their heads in to give the illusion that they're the driver. Reimu fumo is now the driver.

And now for something different for this Train Thursday! Here's some photos from the model railway exhibit at the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway!
A display of a model railway. Notable features include an Intercity 125 and Sir Topham Hatt. Another part of the same display, featuring models of both steam and diesel engines. A little exhibit featuring Thomas the Tank Engine characters! I believe these are from the Ertl series, but I could be wrong. In this section, there's Toby, Oliver, Edward, Bertie, George, Trevor, Bear, Thomas, Daisy, Bulgy, City of Truro, Henry, and James. Another part of the Thomas section, depicting a snowy scene. The models here are of Gordon, Daisy, Henry, Thomas, Trevor, Bertie, Duck, Percy, James, Bill, and Ben.

Bluesky Marisa Pile Art Collab! What is a Marisa pile? On Reimu's character page in FS, there is a pile of content Reimus which inspired a collab earlier this year. This time though, Marisa will get her turn! How does this work? 1. Draw a stackable Marisa! 2. Reply to this post wit a Marisa that has a solid color easily-removable background. NOTE: Bluesky image compression can destroy transparency, giving it a solid black background. This will ruin your linework! 3. I put the Marisas into a pile! -Who can enter? Anyone who wants to enter! During the last pile, I had received not just art but 3d models and hand crafted dolls too. I welcome a wide range of creators to add their own method of visual expression to help make the largest Marisa pile we can create together! Let's beat Reimu's Pile! Submission open until 10/28 when I start piling up Marisas!
