The EMS Foundation submitted substantial objections to the Department Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment proposed trophy hunting quotas for 2024 and 2025 which were acknowledged on Tuesday 17th December 2024.

The Wildlife Animal Protection Forum of South Africa strongly believe that Botswana is one of the last places on earth where wildlife, especially elephants, exist in large numbers, and therefore we believe that Botswana should be preserved as a non-trophy hunting area. wapfsa.org/wapfsa-welco...

Duma an African bull elephant who was previously captive for four decades in a circus and then a zoo. The EMS Foundation and Shambala Private Game Reserve with the assistance of their colleagues Four Paws International, We Wild Africa, Conservation Solutions and Provet evacuated him to freedom.
