The EMPOWER Dementia Network +, funded by the Alzheimer's Society, ESRC, and NIHR, unites researchers, people living with dementia, carers, professionals, and charities to enhance dementia care and empower a meaningful life for all.
Dementia is the leading cause of death in the UK, yet many people do not get the right end-of-life support. The PALLDEM-Homecare study, supported by the EMPOWER Dementia Network, is helping homecare workers provide better, person-centred care for people with dementia.

The EMPOWER Network is synthesising insights from our UK-wide co-creation workshops, where people affected by dementia share what excellent, inclusive care looks like.

Our vision: a values-driven, person-centred & sustainable system that removes barriers, tackles stigma, and leaves no one behind.
