Academics should disclose if they have a direct financial interest (e.g., CEO of a startup) in an issue when giving quotes to the media. Listing academic affiliation alone is misleading.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Something I've found fascinating to track in law school: what gets an asterisk in class discussion.

- Slavery cases get a moment of reflection/condemnation.
- First Kozinski opinion read in class... 50/50 chance of acknowledging his sexual harassment history (+ obligatory 'he's a great writer')
