Revisiting Skip and Loafer, it is tough to see Mika's negative self talk early on. She is such a wonderful character in how over the season she works through her troubles around body image.
I really wish I had someone like Nao when I was younger, because I also see a lot of myself in Mika.

To fail in the performance of heteronormativity is akin to betraying your country, and this show is so savvy in how it ties that to the "lessons" Lettie must learn like marriage, motherhood, and domesticity

1000xRESIST is incredibly specific in its subject matter, both thematically and its historical reference points.
It's amazing how universal it still feels though. Like, somehow a game where everyone is literally a clone contains every person in it.
