Don’t fixate on word count. I know so many people who seem to think high word count equates to a successful day’s writing but for me the skill is in paring it down, keeping it tight, trimming and condensing my words. tbc

Quality of the artwork isn't there yet but I'm trying my hand at animating again. Closest I'm going to get to doing this Snowman dance trend anyway, so maybe next I'll get her a dance partner 😂

There’s definitely luck in publishing, so do what you can to meet it halfway–join a crit group, take courses, enter comps, read lots, try writing for different age groups. Livia actually started as a middle grade but I was able to revise and resubmit after chat with editor. #ukteenchat #liviainrome

#UKteenchat Read widely is my no one recommendation. Not just what's in now, but the works that inspired contemporary writers. Go back in history, understand the context. If you can, read translated works as well. A whole world of different points of view awaits.

Well I have to have something for balance while I'm writing the next YA Faerie books 😳
This will be adult fantasy and set in the Kirelonia world but with new characters, and I'll be releasing episodes (release date TBC) before publishing as a trilogy in the hopes of finding lovely new readers 😊
