It’s been a long two weeks here at the INC 5.2 negotiations and the outcome was disappointing. That being said, it was a great learning experience and I’m glad to have taken part.
After 10 days in Geneva, & over two years since negotiations began, #PlasticsTreaty talks ended without an agreement to #BeatPlasticPollution.

With talks due to resume further down the line, we unpack the story so far 🔎 www.iisd.org/articles/sta...

Excited to share my first first-author paper! We used GIS and remote sensing to measure ecosystem service indicators like temperature and air quality across a range of building density. We found that different indicators respond differently to increasing density. rdcu.be/dq7qn

Beekeeping does not "save nature". In many cases it does the exact opposite.
Honeybees are not endangered. They are basically life stock. *Wild bees" need protection. Try to compete with 50.000 huge honeybees on a flower field when you are 2mm in size & single mom of 7 larvae who need the food.
What's something from your scientific field that is routinely misunderstood by laymen and it drives you up a wall? 🧪
