Fina has passed by, still a bit of wind and rain but things are settling down.
Trees down and power out for a lot of people

Fina now 50kms north west of Darwin. Winds lessening but just had a big rain burst here

From the ABC/BOM Fina 45km nnw of Darwin, moving wsw slowly. Up for the worst weather in the next few hours.
Apparently we're experiencing category 1 winds for the most part. With some destructive winds.

There have been shelters set up in the city but unclear how many people are using them.

Very wet and windy! Cyclone is going past very slowly. Wind etc expected to be bad until midnight or so.
Some suburbs have lost power some haven't (yet).

It's definitely going to be a rough night but Darwin is good at preparing for these things

They have set up shelters in some of the multi-storey carparks. And the local Sikh temple is offering shelter and food.
