Just read the Navalny memoir. This quote struck me hard-so close to home: The only thing we should fear is that we will surrender our homeland to be plundered by a gang of liars, thieves, and hypocrites. That we will surrender without a fight, voluntarily, our own future and future of our children.

The situation in NY and DC is a horror show. I work with an agency that provides shelter & services to homeless veterans and folks with mental illness (some of whom housed under our roofs). The cuts being implemented will put them on the streets without mental health and medical services.

I did HIPAA security training for twenty years. One primary message was “limit access to qualified and vetted users.” Doesn’t seem to be happening here.
