A reminder that all of this bad news is meant to make you feel overwhelmed, like there is no hope, and that it’s easier to just give up.

But we will not.

We will listen, we will take breaks, read some banned books, and come back ready to tackle whatever comes next.

I started writing a short story today. It was awkward and downright bad writing for some parts. But there was also excitement about a story coming together. I haven’t felt that in a long time. It felt nice.

Every year my family writes down funny moments, quotes, major life events and memories, at the end of the year we get together and throw them all in a pile and read them out loud

It’s one of my most favorite things.

I turn 33 on 3/3 this year. 👀

You know what’s unfair? We tell moms, drill it in their heads how the “best days of your life” are when your kids are babies and toddlers.

“You’ll miss these days when they are gone”
