My goodness the Stagecoach live tracker app is a heap of rubbish. Apparently despite being stuck at the top of our road for 10 minutes, 14yo's bus will be arriving at school 2 minutes ago.

Do I know anyone with access to the New York Times full archive, or ProQuest Historical Newspapers? I'm trying to get a story from 1960. I know Yale has access as it was in their catalogue that I found the headline...

Is there a single choral singer out there who isn't now singing Bainton 'And I saw a new Heaven'?

There are some very odd jackets going on at the Traitors round table, including Claudia. What's with the sticking out bits?

THE TWELVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS BEGIN

ON

CHRISTMAS

THEY ARE NOT ANY OF THE DAYS LEADING UP TO CHRISTMAS

THAT IS ADVENT

WHICH BEGINS FOUR SUNDAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS

THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME

Into Great Silence is the perfect unscary film: restful, calming, there are cats and snowballs and an utter absence of anything frightening.

Also from the V&A, the owners of this dog *really* loved their good boy. Apparently Newfoundland dogs are a large breed, but seriously this painting measures 2 metres across.
