We investigate the plastic use of social information (SIU) in relation to harsh environments (cold temps.) in a small overwintering passerine. Results suggest SIU may work as a risk-sensitive strategy to get enough food at cold temps. @mathotlab.bsky.social doi.org/10.1098/rsos...
