You should - and if it's difficult, ask for opinions from the outside. Speaking from personal experience, it's surprisingly easy to be hard on yourself and miss the fact others look up to you.

I'm one of those furries, but honestly, not at the stage where I'd go for anything beyond personal commitment of eating less, better, and not fall behind outdoors activity, no matter how small.
It's not much, but years of not much got me to my current (round) shape, so step by step it is!

Sometimes I find it so hard to tell others I love their style, what they do, who they are. I'm normally an outspoken guy, but having a suit crush, or just saying "hey, keep being amazing!" just gets stuck in my throat.
