Just tossing this out there for fun - but - we the people could do the funniest thing ever by organizing our own parade to honor the 250 birthday of the Army. Have it in Philly, our birthplace as a country. It really won’t be difficult to one-up the one we just saw.

Music gripe. With streaming, songs are like 2 to 3 minutes. Albums have like 10 tracks of 2-3 min songs. I long for 8 min remixes and 15+ track albums.

Happy New Year Blue Sky. Ever since I was a kid - I’ve always listened to “Auld Lang Sign” by Dan Fogelberg. Not exactly uplifting but a great song. Under-rated artist.

It’s the day before Christmas. Another light snowfall has everything dusted in white. Coffee in hand on the front porch. It’s calm and quiet. I’m soaking in the peace - storing it up - cause I’ll need to tap that reserve in 2025.

Survivor Finale! A great season comes to an end. Not gonna spoil on who wins (others already have) but the final arguments were definitely strong and had me second guessing myself. Great job Survivor team and cast!!!!

So I indulged last evening. Cheese fondue and French dipping baguette. Gruyère, Fontina, Gouda and Swiss concoction with Chicken broth, nutmeg, paprika, pepper, garlic. Maybe not the healthiest choice but boy was it delicious. Any other fondue fans out there?
