I have so many people in my life, especially from the XIV community that I wish would understand a simple hey does wonders.
Be cringe. Be sincere. Be honest and sappy and sentimental. Wear your heart on your sleeve. Hug your friends and tell them that you love them. Reach out to loved ones just to say they're on your mind.
Always remind people of how much they mean to you. You never know when it might help lift them up.
