Well this hits close to home. I’m a physician (a Nephrologist actually) licensed in OH, KY, and WV. When patients miss dialysis then can (and sadly some do) die.
NEW: The board president of a small WV nonprofit says they haven't received their HHS funding since the Trump/Musk budget freeze. They had to lay off 3 of 5 employees on Friday. An 86-yr-old woman is counting on them to take her dialysis tomorrow. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

We’re in the middle of one of the largest TB outbreaks in US history. Maybe this wasn’t the best time for us to gag the CDC and halt MMWR.

Thanksgiving looks a little different when one of us is on call. I am thankful for my family, especially this little guy who was appeased with fresh baked cinnamon rolls, and fruit salad for breakfast while he watched the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade. #dualphysicianfamily #livesofdoctorwives
