Movie theater owners are teaming up with other anti-union employers associations to capitalize on the Trump administration's attacks on our nation's laws and institutions in order to undermine the NLRB and erode workers' rights.
The anti-worker groups listed here include the National Association of Theatre Owners, now known as Cinema United (its members include AMC, Regal, etc). The average annual wage in 2022 for movie-theater workers like ushers was $37,300. In 2023, the pay package for AMC’s CEO was $25.4 million.
