It's hard to overstate how uniquely aggressive, unprofessional, insular, and ideological Border Patrol is compared to all other federal law enforcement agencies. Among other things, USBP is distinct for being the only federal LEA to employ an active serial killer.

One of the reasons it's impossible to disrupt Mexican cartels with military force is because there are state and municipal police that work for them in every state. Good luck trying to root out police corruption with drone strikes or counterterrorism-style SOF raids.

It should never have been this easy to turn an entire executive cabinet into a totally lawless paramilitarized occupation force
Over the last five years, police chiefs have worked to persuade a skeptical public that officers would curb their use of violence. Now, police officials are complaining about ICE, saying they are endangering residents and setting back efforts to improve public trust.

Many police departments adopted major changes after civilian killings. Now, police chiefs worry ICE is ignoring those lessons and setting back efforts to improve public trust.

DHS is stabbing every LE agent in the country in the back by doing this shit and it's horrifying that an entire executive cabinet department's institutional resilience is so weak that an election outcome is all it took for them to trash everything they learned in 2020

A few in Florida and Western European countries living large at the expense of the majority of Venezuelan citizens suffering hunger and deprivation. The Chavista regime has been the frontman of a mafia-style bust out on a national scale. Forcibly removing Maduro while leaving them in place is crazy.

Ted Cruz lacks anything resembling a moral center so I assume he's responding to troubling sentiment analytics data trends and stochastic prediction models of voter turnout rather than taking a principled stand over how to better handle future executions on video
Ted Cruz: "If you're being told, this is a mom of three -- and she's not waving an ISIS flag or doesn't have a suicide vest -- escalating the rhetoric doesn't help, and it actually loses credibility. So I would encourage the administration to be more measured and recognize the tragedy."

The agency responsible for the no-holds-barred POC rodeo is USBP. ICE historically has used a targeted approach that prioritized criminal offenders while taking precautions to minimize risk to individuals and the public. USBP is the agency driving culturally within DHS right now.
Majority of the country now wants to abolish and/or dismantle ICE and yet Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y. told the caucus the message had to be to “restrain, reform and restrict ICE.”

Once again it looks like Schumer is about to choke after getting a massive opportunity.

So pathetic and weak.
